Yeesh, I haven't emptied my camera in several months, so I was reminded of a lot of adventures I haven't blogged about!
Halloween
At a huge garage sale I went to with my cousins, I found a tiger costume in perfect condition, so this year we went as Daniel Tiger's family.
His preschool did a Halloween Parade. The parents lined up on the sidewalk and the kids did a parade down the street with music. Each kid had a handful of candy they were supposed to throw to their parents. Walter struggled with that. He walked up, put the candy in my hands, and then picked it back up and said he "needed it."
Then for Halloween, we went to Grandma Jolene's house to party with the cousins! I found it funny that Walter REFUSED to wear his hood when I put it on him (it was "too comfy," he said) . But when Miss Sandi put his hood on, he was more than happy to parade around in full costume.

Walter was being a real pill with picture taking this year
He had a lot of fun trick-or-treating! But when it started getting dark, I noticed him getting nervous. Logan was wearing a scary costume, and it really freaked Walter out. He'd come screaming behind me and say, "Silly Logan." Logan was sensitive and managed to keep himself far enough from us that Walter didn't need to worry.
We were nearing the end and came to one of the last houses. I noticed a guy in a huge 7 foot homemade costume. My first thought was that he was dressed as Appa from Avatar! I was so excited! Appa is such a cute character!
Getting closer to him though, his wife said, "Honey, don't turn around. There's a kid behind you." But it was too late. The guy started turning around...definitely not Appa.
Walter started having a border-line panic attack and we had to (literally) run all the way back to Jolene's. I hate scary Halloween.
Having our walk cut short didn't do anything to diminish Walter's cavity supporting supply though
We gave him the choice to pick out a few pieces and leave the rest outside for the "Switch-Witch" to use to make into a toy.
The next morning, Walter went outside and there was a not-age-appropriate "jail break" lego set! I think the switch witch forgot he was leaving a toy for a 3 year old...
Regardless, he spent all morning playing legos with Levi and they had a blast.
